Gender Diversity Professional Development
Since 2015 the leadership of Nevada Alliance for Student Diversity has been at the forefront of the fight for the inclusion and rights of gender diverse students in Nevada.
NASD’s comprehensive gender diversity training for educators is compliant with the requirements of Senate Bill 225 and provides information and guidance to administrators and teachers on Nevada laws and policies, creating an affirming environment in classrooms and schools, and best practices for supporting gender diverse students.
Policy Development Consultation
NASD provides policy development consultation for charter schools working towards implementing compliant policies to address the rights and needs of students with diverse gender identities.
